The infant environment is set up to meet the whole needs of the infant. Your infant will feel safe in the loving and nurturing environment provided by the staff at the Early Childhood Center. Strong, positive and secure relationships will be maintained between each care provider and the infant. The classroom environment is set up to be stimulating and interesting for the infant. The infant teachers create weekly lesson plans based on different themes. They also include daily Bible lessons, nature and outdoor activates. Our infants go on stroller rides outside daily (weather permitting); it’s important for our infants to get fresh air too, even if it’s just for a brief period of time.
The infant environment is set up as much like your home environment as possible. Each infant is given individual care and attention by holding, talking to, rocking, and playing to ensure your baby will feel loved. In our infant room we have designated areas for sleeping, eating and playing to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Each day, you will receive a report that documents your child’s day, for example: feeding times, diaper changes, and indoor/outdoor activities.

Our Toddler Program offers a warm, nurturing environment where children can work on developing life skills, language skill, gross and fine motor skills, social skills and much more. Our toddler program is structured as an age and developmentally appropriate Montessori based curriculum. Our daily routine includes time for free play, line time, work time, reading books, music, art, outdoor play and more. The toddlers are given a free choice of work and are encouraged to proceed at their own pace. Toddlers learn according to their own individual capabilities and enjoy a sense of freedom and spontaneity within a secure framework of daily routines. The environment provides space for movement, space for individual work, and space for group activities.
Since toddlers are especially committed to achieving independence, our teachers provide responsive individual attention as your child deals with positive experiences as well as frustration. The focus of the toddler room is to provide a positive and loving environment which enables the children to develop life-long skills and self-esteem.

Our preschool program is structured as an age and developmentally appropriate Montessori based curriculum. Our preschool focuses on the development of the whole child- physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally. Our teachers will provide plenty of individual attention to support your child’s unique needs, ensuring each child has fun while learning at the Early Childhood Center.
Our daily routine starts off with “line time” where everyone is invited to sit with us and participate in group activates (ex: calendar, weather, stories, topics of the day, music, etc). We then move into work time where each child explores their environment and chooses a work they are interested in. They complete their work on either a rug or at the table. Children progress through their work materials at their own pace. The activities are designed to improve children’s abilities to concentrate, enhance coordination and self-care skill. After work time, the children head outdoors to our Nature Explore Classroom to engage in a natural environment through observation and experience.
The classroom environment is set up into specific learning areas such as practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and more. The children are introduced to each new work during line time and as they show an interest in new materials. The teacher spends their time observing and journaling as the children complete their work. Through the idea of “work,” the child plays in a stimulating environment that nurtures the whole child.
